Having dived in locations around the world, I found the staff at the Tarpoon Dive Center to be amongst the most knowledgeable and friendly that I have met. It doesn't hurt that they have over 50 years combined experience in the industry and dive for pleasure in their spare time. The dives in Miami Beach vary from reefs that compare to (or they would say exceed!) the beauty of those in the Florida Keys, to the wrecks of freighters sunk long ago by the US Coast Guard. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and diversity of what was available. Tarpoon charters to a 49-ft Newton dive boat that is very comfortable in all but the worst weather, or on the busiest of days! I have dived with Tarpoon on many occasions and will continue to do so on my regular visits to Miami Beach.
Pros: Staff experience, Knowledge, Products.
Cons: Can get busy at peak times.
