I got dragged here one afternoon by a group of friends who love to go to wine bars even though I don't and surprisingly enough I had a good time. The tasting was wonderful and I ended up buying 50 dollars worth of wine that I had tried. The staff knows the wines that they carry and NY wine is much better than I remember it being. The manager was very friendly and gave good recommendations on wine and he wasn't to bad to look at either ; ). I will defiantly be returning and I'm even considering having a party in their downstairs room.
Pros: Great service, friendly staff, decent wine
Cons: They only sell NY wines, need a better selction of cheeses

i'm pretty clueless when it comes to wine. I walked into Vintage on a whim. I was kind of weary of trying a new york wine but the staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly so I decided to give it a try. I bought a very nice blend, I spent a little more than I had planed on but was very pleased with the end result. When I finished purchasing it I noticed the wine bar in the back. I decided to have a quick glass before I left and kind of check out the scene. I was greeted by the bartender whom was very friendly and gave me a great recommanation on a delicious riesling. The bar has a great ambiance as does the entire store and I found the staff to be very friendly. I will be returning on a semi regular basis.
Pros: very customer friendly, nice decor, and great bar ambiance
Cons: wine bar doesnt stay open later than midnight
