You'll need to get buzzed in to this small, extraordinarily frilly store. A wall of signed 8-by-10's attests to the celebs who've shopped here before you--Veronique from the Victoria's Secret catalog (so much for brand loyalty) and Sarah Jessica Parker are a few of the notables. The owner rules the store like a madam and dispenses expert advice: "I like you in red. Just do something about the top."
The Goods
Bras, of course, but also corsets, panties, nighties and negligees in every shape and size. Buttery colors reign; style runs the gamut from sex kitten to innocent and feminine to sleek and modern. Everything is classy, and everything can be tried on. And it's not just the women who love this place; a huge male clientele stops by on every important occasion to pick up something for their lucky ladies.

After losing 50 pounds, I realized it was time to get a new bra. So it was with intrepidation that I went to La Petite Coquette. I am more the JC Penny's type! But as soon as I walked it, I was made to feel at ease. Monica worked with me tirelessly to find the right fit - I came in wearing a 40 and left in a 34! It was amazing. I am a new person and I love the bras - yes I bought two! When I lose the next 20 pounds, I will be back!!! Thank you Monica and La Petite Coquette!
Pros: excellent service, great location.
Cons: not cheap.

Several weeks ago I went to search for a correct fitting bra. This was my second time to the shop and I was more impressed than ever. Tania was my sales associate and she was terrific. If something did not fit right - off it went - till we found a collection of bras that made me smile and looked awesome on me. Then, as a detour, a gorgeous black silk negligeee - that I wear for myself - because it makes me feel great about myself! And that's what's its all about. When you feel good - you radiate - and Tania was absolutely stellar! Highly recommend Tania and La Petite Coquette...
