Go see 'Pan's Labyrinth' for yourself. I say this because 'Pan's Labyrinth' likely works differently for different people. Myself, I found it somewhat disenchanting. Didn't care for the over-the-top violence, or that somewhere between the twilight zone of the religious and the non-religious was this war storyline. Maybe I don't know exactly what an adult fantasy movie is. What ever it is, this movie just didn't capture my emotions in a way that would be necessary when taking the viewer into such a real world of extreme harm and much goodness.

Looking for a great little independent theatre that plays all of the latest independent films? Look no further. They always have the best service, no lines, current releases.
Pros: current films
Cons: popcorn butter machine

This is an art house theater owned by a major chain. When I make the trek down to Orange County from L.A., this is typically where I see films. The facilities are nothing special, but they get a lot of great flicks. Check it out if you're 'round.
