The restaurant is nicely decorated, has attentive and pleasant service (if you go after reading this review ask for ‘Rodrigo’ from Texas - he was a very good server). Frontera had/has a special promotion that uses a very attractive picture of what looks like a entire “red snapper” on a well garnished plate. Yep, I ordered it, and what I receive was an over cooked Tilapia. Seriously overcooked, thus, I sent it back and waited until an undercooked Tilapia came back. It was without flavor and because the restaurant deep fries their fish, it had almost absorbed its weight in cooking oil. NOT GOOD. My wife ordered a spinach quesadilla with chicken. It was large, very large, and eatable, but lacked a distinctive flavor. On the positive side the chips and salsa are great. Look, if you know what good Mexican or good Tex-Mex food taste like then you may feel short changed with Frontera’s food, but if you are in for a fast meal that is filling then this restaurant is OK - just avoid the fish. $35 for two (one ice tea/one water) 2.5 Stars

Pros: Good Service

Cons: Bad Fish... Flavorless quesadilla

We eat at Frontera Mex-Mex on Holcomb Bridge at least once a week and have never had a bad experience. The alambre - shish-kabab - is the best - tender and delicious with just the right char in the peppers and onions! My husband always orders chicken fajitas and loves every bite. Highly recommend this place for good food and service.

Pros: service, inexpensive, very clean

This place absolutely sucks! My girlfriend and I went here once. She ordered the mushroom quesadilla, yet, their idea of a mushroom q. is a can of water-packed mushrooms stuffed in a leathery wrapper! Don't go here. If you want real Mexican check out El Torrero or anyplace else...

Pros: none

Cons: everything

I could eat at Frontera almost every other day. I love mexican food and have tried others around but nothing comes close to Frontera. I feel like I am at home all the waiters are great and make my kids and I feel at home. The margaritas are the best too!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Great food, Friendly, Fun

Cons: Crowded on Weekends

Frontera is consistent in quality and flavor. Two kinds of great salsa/dip. Great margaritas. Service is great, very attentive. Good variety of foods, not just same as El Toro, etc. Most restaurants are non-smoking now which is GREAT!

Pros: variety, good parking, consistent

Cons: crowded / wait, again, crowded

Frontera is the BEST mexican food around. The owners are great! AND their restaurants are VERY clean. It doesn't get any better than this. Angie

Pros: very clean, very attentive, very fresh

Cons: not enough of them

The best food back in Mexico was always at my Grandmother's house... 15 or 20 of her grandkids in for a quick lunch was never unusual... Frontera is by far the closest to eating with "La Abuela" in Atlanta..

Pros: chips and salsa, quick service, Mariachi Night!!
